Developing Leaders
through Purposeful Play

Video games teach collaboration, communication, and resilience — when guided with intention.

We partner with educators, youth workers, and esports leagues to co-create structured gaming programmes that build the soft skills young people need to thrive in school, work, and community.

Gaming as a bridge back into learning, work, and community

Across the US and Europe, one in nine young people is not in education, employment or training, and for many, traditional services struggle to reach them. At the same time, nearly every young person plays video games. The question is not whether they play, but whether that play is structured and purposeful.

Research from institutions including Manchester Metropolitan University, Aalborg University, and Université Paris Cité shows that facilitated gaming and esports environments build measurable skills: communication, collaboration, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and leadership.

We train and support educators and youth workers to use our game Causeway in a purpose-led environment, equipping them to run co-located gaming sessions where teenagers build confidence, forge real connections, and find pathways into education and employment.

Causeway blends esports and sportsmanship, and is a values-driven game that embeds prosocial concepts and ideas designed to help young people thrive.
